On my behalf and on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, I have great pleasure in extending to Your Excellency, the Government and the brotherly people of Sudan our warmest greetings and felicitations on the first anniversary of your assumption of the high office of the President of Sudan. I am confident that the manifold ties of understanding, friendship, co-operation and brotherhood so happily existing between Sudan and Pakistan shall be strengthened further in the years ahead.
